For decades, I have been traveling in many parts of the world; during all of the traveling, I always manage to visit bird fanciers and bird breeders everywhere. Especially, during the breeding season, I noticed that practically, all breeding cages with many species of birds feeding youngsters; had two or more treat cups filled with some yellow substance. I asked many breeders what was that substance in the treat cups. They replied to me, "It is la Polentina." I noticed the parent birds ate that substance with gusto and they all fed the youngsters with tender loving care. I asked for the formula! Well, for the last three years, I personally have been working to compose a better Polentina mixture for the North American market!

 In the last few years and especially in 2008 , we have been marketing the Abba 98 POLENTINA. Many bird fanciers, that been visiting me during the 2008 breeding season, have addressed the same question to me. Many asked the same question that asks the fellow European fanciers.  MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
For those fanciers that have a large number of breeding canaries and other seed eating birds:
Place 8 once (one cup) of water in a cooking pan, bring to a boil, lower  the flame to a minimum. Slowly add the ABBA 98 mixture stirring continuously to achieve a thick crème consistency. Continue on stirring and cook at low flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
Place the cooked polentina in a flat dish; let cool at room temperature and feed to all birds feeding their youngsters a small amount each in a treat cup/finger cup.
